This Privacy Policy explains how VenSure, operated by Venture Holding Limited in Zambia, handles personal information in connection with the VenSure website and customer mobile application.
Effective / last updated: 22 September 2026
1. Who we are
VenSure is an insurance comparison and distribution platform operated by Venture Holding Limited ("Venture", "we", "us") in Zambia. Contact: insurance@ventureholdingltd.com · +260 772388683.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use VenSure, we may process the following categories of information:
- Account and identity: name, email address, mobile number, customer type (individual or business), NRC or passport details where provided, and company or incorporation details where applicable.
- KYC documents: uploads such as NRC/passport images or certificates of incorporation, and related verification status.
- Vehicle information: registration/plate details, make, model, chassis/engine and related vehicle attributes; RTSA verification results where a lookup is performed; and manually entered vehicle data.
- Quote and purchase information: cover preferences, selected insurers/products, quotation amounts, acknowledgements of Key Facts and Policy Wordings, and related application data.
- Policy and payment records: policy numbers and status, policy documents (for example certificates and receipts), payment references and status, and related transaction metadata processed through the payment provider.
- Communications: SMS, WhatsApp and email notification records used for OTP, purchase confirmation and customer messaging where enabled.
- Technical and security information: authentication tokens stored on device, and standard server request information needed to operate and secure the service (for example IP address associated with OTP rate-limiting where applicable).
VenSure does not claim to collect advertising identifiers, precise device location history, contacts lists, calendar data, or health data through the current Customer mobile app dependencies inspected for this policy.

- Obtain or confirm vehicle information (including RTSA lookup)
- Generate and compare insurance quotations
- Facilitate insurance purchase and document acknowledgement
- Issue and administer insurance policies and related documents
- Process and confirm payments through the payment provider
- Provide customer support and service notifications
- Protect security, prevent fraud and misuse
- Meet contractual, accounting, legal or regulatory obligations
4. Third parties
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with or processed by categories of third parties that support the VenSure service, including:
- Participating insurers — to obtain quotes and issue insurance products you select.
- Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) — to look up vehicle registration information when you request verification.
- Payment provider (GeePay) — to process hosted checkout or mobile-money payments.
- SMS / messaging providers — to deliver OTP and other service messages (including SMS and WhatsApp template messaging where configured).
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to operate the VenSure application and APIs.
5. Payment data
Payment processing is facilitated through the payment provider (GeePay). VenSure stores payment references, amounts, status and related transaction metadata needed to confirm purchase and administer policies. VenSure does not claim to store full card primary account numbers from hosted checkout in the Customer application flows described in this policy.
6. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the nature of the service, including HTTPS for application and API traffic and access controls for customer accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim absolute security.
7. Data retention
Different records may have different retention requirements. Closing a VenSure account disables login access and anonymizes login identifiers, but does not necessarily destroy records that Venture or insurers must retain for legitimate contractual, accounting, security, legal or regulatory reasons. Exact retention periods are determined by Venture's approved retention requirements and are not listed as fixed statutory periods in this policy.
8. Account deletion
You may delete your VenSure account in the mobile app (Profile → Account → Delete Account), including OTP verification. You may also request deletion outside the app as described on the Account Deletion page. Upon closure, login access is disabled and login email, phone and NRC / passport number identifiers are anonymized. Display name and other related records may remain where retained for legitimate purposes.
Delete VenSure Account removes access to your VenSure login. It is not the same as Cancel Insurance Policy, which must follow the applicable insurer or Venture process.
9. Customer rights
Subject to applicable law and contractual requirements, you may contact Venture to request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you, to request account deletion, or to raise a privacy enquiry. Contact insurance@ventureholdingltd.com.
10. Children
VenSure is intended for adult customers arranging motor insurance. It is not directed at children.
11. Policy changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective / last updated date at the top of this page will change when updates are published.
